URS Nuclear, Fort Mill, SC , EE/CompE, Intern, Summer 2013

URS is seeking an Instrumentation and Controls Engineering Intern to work at the URS Nuclear in Fort Mill, SC during the summer of 2014. Junior students or seniors/masters that will still be attending the school in Fall 2014 are qualified.  The position can be found online at: EC84272 on our website at www.bestworkofyourlife.com.

 Below are the qualifications:

 Minimum Requirements:
• Must be currently enrolled as a full-time student in an accredited 4 year college or university and seeking a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree majoring in Electrical, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering with the intent to attend the subsequent term as a full-time student.
• Must have completed 90 credits hours by the start of the position in the summer of 2014.
• Excellent oral communication and technical writing skills.
• Ability to obtain unescorted access to a nuclear power plant.
• Due to the nature of work, candidate must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident of the United States.

Preferred Requirements:
• 3.5 GPA (please list GPA in profile)
• EIT Certificate or registered to take in October 2013 or Spring 2014 (please list in profile)
• Coursework relating to the following:(please list courses in profile)
– Circuit design
– Control Theory
– Computer or digital related courses
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Previous internship with URS Corporation or other EPC company specific to nuclear power generation.
